The William and Hannah McClain Foundation (WHMF) was established June 28, 2006. Our organizational meeting was held in Alexandria, Louisiana. This non-profit organization has a 501 (c(3) tax-exempt status. Donations made to the WHMF are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The major fundraiser for the William and Hannah Foundation is an annual Fashion Show/Dinner benefit that started in 2009 in Rayville, Louisiana and continue to this very day. All proceeds from the benefits goes directly to the foundation scholarship program.

To provide financial assistance to financially disadvantaged collegiate students or high school graduates bound for a four-year college/university or a four-year business school of his/her choice.

Each scholarship recipient receives a scholarship for both (Fall and Spring) semesters provided he/she maintains the required grade point average.

The grand marshal this year is Katie M. Weber. A native of Rayville Louisiana, who now resides in Missouri City, Texas. Katie Weber  constantly give back to her community, state, and the nation by providing scholarships in higher education to the young men and women graduating from Rayville High School through the William & Hannah McClain Foundation in which she is the CEO.
